M.Tech
Prerequisite: B.Tech. Degree in CSE/IT/ECE/ME/IN or M.Sc. degree in CS/IT or equivalent from a reputed Institute or Engg. College. Students entering the M.Tech. IT (RO) program are expected to have good background in each of the areas of Programming, Algorithm, Graphics, Statistics and Communication Design.
M. Tech in Information Technology specialization in Robotics is a very vibrant postgraduate program with a strong focus on research and development. The department attaches lot of importance to its Master's students as they constitute the backbone of research and development. M. Tech program comprises of core courses, specialization related electives, institute electives and supervised research exposition. M. Tech thesis enables graduate students to display their skills in performing independent research. It is expected that M. Tech thesis would result in high quality research publications or patent or prototype technology development.
The course model of M. Tech (Robotics) includes two semester 'Thesis work' which provides an opportunity to students to create and develop new concept, techniques, methods and applications given the world class infrastructure and faculty in the Institute.
